Yo también

Yo también canto a América.
Soy el hermano oscuro.
Me mandan a comer en la cocina
cuando llegan las visitas,
mas yo me río
y como bien
y crezco fuerte.

Mañana,
me sentaré a la mesa
cuando lleguen las visitas.
Entonces,
nadie se atreverá
a decirme:
-Ve y come en la cocina.
Además,
verán que soy hermoso
y se avergonzarán.

Yo también soy América.
